Adam Herrera
Born and raised in Santa Fe, NM, Adam Herrera has always been artistically inspired by the city he grew up in. Being artistically inclined, Adam experimented with almost all mediums, but it was not until he found glass that he felt he can truly find his voice.
Adam's career as a glass artist started right here, at Tesuque Glassworks, with our apprenticeship program in January 2017. With no previous experience in glass, he had a natural ability to connect with the glass and control the glass in its molten state. By March 2017 Adam had work displayed in The Tesuque Glassworks Gallery.
"I find inspiration in the process of making a glass piece. The movements can become a dance. Every piece had a different rhythm. You must learn to find balance between panic and patience".
